Hi! I'm Rebecca Scott Reynolds, the artist at Honey Hill. I'm creative and I'm professional. I can't explain it with words though. Just trust me!
My friends and current customers all said that was totally acceptable to put on my website (and very, very accurate LOL) but for those of you who might want to know a little more about me......
I am a Wayne County native, raised and still living on my family's farmland near Goldsboro. I live with my husband Jimmy, our 20 year old tuxedo cat George, and our cute but psycho calico, Juni. If you like cat photos, follow my social media LOL! I love calling North Carolina home, it has shaped so much of who I am and how I create. In my art prints you will see that my love of North Carolina, it's history, and natural beauty are recurring themes. I've been a creator in some form all my life, and I have worked in the arts in one way or another my entire adult life. Portrait photography and digital art are the mainstays of my creative business, but I also like to dabble a bit in other art forms including alcohol ink painting, tie dye, and cyanotypes using locally foraged materials. There's only so much time a girl raised on a farm can spend inside in front of a computer!
The connections I make with people who purchase an art print that brings back special memories and those I make with the people who let me create for them are so special to me. It's "just a picture" to some people but I know that art can bring people together, it can heal hearts, it is a way to preserve history, and it can help us express emotions we may not be able to otherwise.
